Wheatham Walk on New Years Eve

This group of photos were taken while on a chilly walk on the morning of New Years Eve. This is a walk of about 6 or 7 miles.

Walking from our village of Liss, Hampshire and around the local lanes, through the small village of Steep Marsh and on towards Petersfield then back towards Liss. This is a lovely walk taking in lots of views, animals and wild birds, the only thing that I don’t like is having to walk along the cycle path which runs beside the A3 until I get to a lane which takes me back to the lanes and wildlife.

Misty Hills

We started our walk about 9.30am and we had covered 2 or 3 miles by the time I took this photo.

This is looking back towards Liss with the misty hills behind our village.

More mist over Liss

More mist over Liss

It was a cold morning and the mist just didn’t seem to want to lift.

Horses, horses, horses!

There seem to be alot of fields with some beautiful ponies and horses in and I have to stop and talk to all of them.

Breakfast for one

Breakfast for one

This is a lovely horse, really fluffy and cuddly. I'm sure he could come and live with me!!

Nosey pony

Nosey pony

This little chap was tucking into his breakfast but I had my dog with me and he wanted to come and say hello. Not sure who was more inquisitive my dog or the pony.

Talk to me

Talk to me

This chap was just watching on as I couldn’t get to him to give him a stroke.
