Beer, Dorset

This weeks photos are from the pretty seaside village of Beer, Dorset.

While there we visited Pecorama which is a great day out, with a miniature railway and model railways to look at. They also have gardens, a play and picnic area, it's a great place to take the kids.

Beer beach is filled with lots of fishing boats and the village itself is so pretty with the small stream running all the way down the main street towards the sea. It's a nice place to spend a few hours as we found out.

Fishing Boat

One of the many boats on the beach, this one is a nice resting place for one of the many seagulls waiting for the fishing boats to come in off the sea.

We watched as the fishermen beach their boat after the days fishing out at sea.

After a days fishing and the boat was gently dragged up the beach and the catch unloaded.
