Tank hill
This is a collection of photos which were taken on the local MOD land which many people use for walking etc. This spot is known locally as Tank Hill, although those of you that know about your military vehicles will recognise this as an Abbot self propelled gun.

The climb to the top
The tank for many years sat just at the top of this hill, then as the ground around it was worn away it was eventually moved up onto the top of the hill.

As you can see from this photo the tank is well used, what with children climbing all over it and the wildlife that seems to grow though it.
