Sussex Trip around the steam rallies
This is a bumper collection this time, we have been on a great tour around the Sussex countryside with Victoria over the late summer months and this is it in pictures, Lady came along to for a few weeks so we have had a busy time.
The busy summer started for us around the end of june in Hampshire and before to long in July Victoria and Lady were of to Sussex to enjoy some of their summer there. Lady returned back to Hampshire in the middle of August but Victoria didn't return till the second weekend in September.
I hope you enjoy the pictures and let me know what you think.
Kingsley Steam Rally
This is Kingsley Steam Rally held over the weekend of 27th & 28th July in Kingsley near Bordon Hampshire. A lovely friendly event and all for charity. Lots of vehicles on display from tractors, cars, stationary engines and a selection of stalls there was plenty to see. Although it is advertised as a "steam" rally there was only 2 full size engines there but a good few miniatures. A great event make sure you put it in your diaries for next year.

This is a fantastic sight, they come charging into the ring and gallop round before stopping to put out the fire and then they put all the hoses etc back and once again gallop round. You can really see the power of these 2 beautiful horses and real treat to watch.

Journey home
All to soon our Sussex trip was over and we were heading back to Hampshire. We had had a wonderful 6 weeks traveling around Sussex with Victoria but it had been hard work fitting our normal life in to!! Sometimes this work thing can get in the way of fun.... A great time and Victoria was wonderful for the whole time.
The last few miles in the sun before home....
Jack on his tractor
Over the summer Jack had past his tractor test so he was out on the road with us to to bring Victoria home.
A great few weeks, thanks to all who helped us, the farmers for letting us keep Victoria at their farms, the pubs for letting us fill Victoria up with water, the events for letting us come along and anyone else we saw or who spoke to us.. Looking forward to next year.
