We haven't had much steam on Steam and Country Cam lately so I thought I would give all you steam fans a treat. 18 pictures of steam traction engines, rollers and wagons..

McLaren Traction Engine
"The Favourite" at The Dene Rally Ropley.
2012 was the first year for this rally, held next to the steam railway at The Watercress Line. June 2012
Aveling and Porter Roller
The roller had become stuck on the wet slippery grass and the BIG Peterbilt lorry was pushing it out of the slippery patch.. The Dene Rally June 2012

Things don't always go to plan!! Sunday evening and time to go home, the roller was reversing out the gate when it got stuck. It couldn't go back or forwards and was now leaning on the barn so the BIG Peterbilt lorry was once again to the rescue..The Dene Rally June 2012.

Tasker and Aveling Porter Roller
At The Sewards of Petersfield Steam and Vintage Gathering, this rally is always in July but due to weather had to be postponed till the end of September 2012. They still had a great turnout of steam engines and other vehicles. Well worth a visit in 2013...

Marshall traction engine
"Victoria Empress of India" giving trailer rides at Amberley Museum in West Sussex. We were there with Victoria attending their Edwardian weekend August 2012. This years event will be held on 3rd & 4th August and will be called The Roaring Twenties come and see us there. For more information on Amberley Museum visit their website
