Our journey to Singleton, West Sussex

This week’s photos are slightly different as they are all in black and white.

These were taken when we were on a trip from home to The Weald and Downland Museum in Singleton, West Sussex. We are attending an event there over the coming weekend (4th and 5th October) with Victoria. It’s their Autumn Show where there will be tractors ploughing, horses ploughing and steam engines threshing. Other things to see is the museum itself, donkeys walking around the site in their carts, there is also a good selection of stalls to have a walk round and on Sunday there is a fun dog show.

After three hours on the road we arrived at The Weald and Downland Museum, where everybody is doing something to Victoria ready to put her covers on and put her to bed.

This is the farm yard at the museum.

This is a fantastic place for a day out and this weekend 4/5 October you have the added bonus of the autumn show, if you are at a loose end and need something to do it's well worth a visit.
