Mevagissey and the Eden Project
Another cornish collection this week.
A typical cornish harbour village "Mevagissey" and a morning spent at The Eden Project.
Mevagissey Harbour
Looking across the harbour, a typical cornish harbour
The harbour again
This time the picture is taken from futher up the harbour wall out to sea.
Looking at the fishing village
Through the cliffs and out to sea
Sitting in the sun on the water enjoying the day
Jess swimming the channel
Shes just got to swim!!!
Jess playing in the water
This was a very quite little bit of beach and Jess just had to go in but we got told off as dogs aren't allowed on the smallest of beaches. We did try and point out that see wasn't on the beach but in the water.....
Pretty cornish harbour
Taken from the other side of the harbour looking towards the pretty villaage sitting on the side of the hill.
From the top of the cliff
After a walk to the top of the cliff we can get a good view of house, village and harbour or nestled together, very pretty.
The Eden Project
This is the view as you enter after we had waited to pay. In front of you is the large Biome which house two different plant areas, one side is The Rainforest and the other The Mediterranean.
Inside one of the Biome
This is the inside of the biome, it was full of plants but our children who are 14 and 10 they found it a little boring.
Some of the plants on show
A display of sculpture
Tulips
Now this was pretty, hundreds of Tulips in lots of different colours. I wish this was my garden...
This is Wee Man
WEE Man is made from waste electrical and electronic equipment including kettles, hairdryers, fridges, computers, hoovers, hair strightners, cookers, microwaves and much much more. He was very good..
And finally a rainy picture to end
We were a bit disappointed with the Eden Project, we felt it was a lot of money to get in and there wasn't much to keep us there. The one thing we would of liked to of done was the Rain Forest outlook platform but sadly there was at least an hour wait for this.
