Gorring Haven and Port Isac

Another Cornwall collection, the beautiful sands of Gorring Heaven we just happen to stumble across as we were looking for somewhere for the dog to have a run and what a place it was just lovely... Then we took a trip to Port Isac, as some of you may know this is where the TV series DR Martin is filmed...

Harry having fun

Harry having fun

With the sunny skies and a empty beach here at Gorring Hevan Harry had to have a paddle but this was in April so it wasn't as warm as it looked. Never the less he had great fun..

It doesn't matter what the weather is to Jess she just has to go for a swim...

It was to inviting and as you can see here Jack is just taking his shoes and socks off so he could paddle to

This was a beautiful beach, all sand and hardly anyone else there.

What a wonderful place, one of my favourite from our week in Cornwall
Mussells

Mussells

As we were playing on the beach a lady came along and picked a bag full of these of the rocks and off she went with them, what a way to do your shopping for tea...

Port Issac

Port Issac

Another pretty harbour and village, as they all are in Cornwall but this one has a claim to fame. This is the village where the TV series "Doc Martin" is filmed.

The lower white building in front of you is used as the resturant and small house up and to the right is the house which is used as Doc Martins house in the series.

From the cliff top

Here again we had climb to the top of the cliff and looked back towards the village and the harbour, the Doc Martin buildings are on the right of this picture.

The harbour

A closer view of the harbour, this was a nice place to see and to say we have been there but it was very busy with people and the walk from the car park is a real hike, ok for us but be warned if you decide to go there.
