Fowey and Polruan
Looking back through some of my photos and I found these, I took them back in April while on holiday in Cornwall. I enjoyed looking back at them so I thought I would share them with you... Enjoy
House on the river
Looking across the river
From Fowey looking across the river to the small fishing village of Polruan.
Tall ship anchored in the river
Brave man up the mask
Out in the river was this tall ship and here you can see some brave men/woman up the mask and it was a fairly windy day.... Thats not the sort of thing I would be wanting to do on a windy afternoon.
The narrow streets
Here is one of the pretty narrow streets, this was in Fowey.
Fowey centre
Looking down the hill to the shops at the centre of Fowey, here cars and people have to mingle together.
In the middle of the river
Just a short trip across the river on the small car ferry and you have a lovely view of Fowey
From the top of the hill
We are now looking towards Fowey across the river and below us is the small ancient fishing village of Polruan
Boat in the boat yard
Seagulls enjoying the view
Back on the ferry
After a lovely time spent in a wet Polruan it was back on the ferry and across to Fowey. A great day was spent in these two lovely Cornish fishing villages... Wonderful
Portable
On our return back to our holiday home we saw this in a field and I couldn't resist taken a picture. Unfortunatley I have no clue as to the make of the portable.
