2009 in pictures
All the photos in this weeks collection were taken back in 2009, each photo was taken in the corresponding month and shows what we were doing. I think I'm right in saying that all the photos (apart from Febuary & July) haven't been seen on the site before.
March and spring has sprung
A couple of the trees in blossom taken from my sitting room window. Very pretty.
May and a steam rally
After a lovely few weeks of sunny weather it was time for us to attend our first steam rally of the year. The Bill Targett rally held near Winchester, Hampshire. It rained most of the weekend and it was cold and dull, it felt more like October than May. Here you can see my husband in his waterproof jacket and my boys rugged up in their jumpers and overall.
Let's hope this year will be better, the rally will be held on 15th and 16th May 2010 at Matterley Farm, Alresford Road (A31), Winchester. SO21 1HW.
June and sunshine
This is a small village fete called Greatham Fun Day held at their village hall. It's a good afternoon out and this year they will be holding it again on 19th June 2010.
July, more rain
This picture is of steam engines and vehicles leaving a rally field after another weekend of rain, luckily for us we stayed at home and didn't attempt to go.
August and the sunshines
This is "Victoria" in The High Street, Petersfield, Hampshire. The town was holding their Bank Holiday Festivities at the end of August and they close off the High Street which gave us the chance to chuff up and down. Here is a friend of ours with his young son taking a ride on "Victoria", start them young.
September, Llama alert
This is the pack of Llamas that live at The Hollycombe Steam Collection, Liphook. Hampshire. We were attending their steam rally which was held over the weekend of 19th & 20th September.
